Job Summary

At Bluewave, the Vice President of Finance/FP&A, reporting directly to the CFO is responsible for building and leading a finance organization that is a strategic thought partner to the business while also establishing effective financial & strategic planning, forecasting, and reporting processes that scale with our growth. The individual in this role should be a self-motivated, team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, focused on scaling.

Core Responsibilities

·Oversee planning and analysis (FP&A), inclusive of month/quarter-end close, budget/ forecasting, variance analysis and managing against the budget target.

·Develop and implement business and process improvements within finance and the broader organization as appropriate to scale the business.

·Foster partnerships with ops, sales, marketing to refine and implement key performance indicators and strategic objectives and facilitates measurement of those objectives, reporting results back to the business.

·Partner with accounting team to support monthly financial reporting and annual audits.

·Demonstrated track record of building and owning complex financial models and understanding of business model drivers.

·Prepare executive presentations, including financial reporting, comprehensive business analyses and recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors.

·Active participation with the Corporate Development/M&A team to analyze, perform diligence, and integrate acquired companies.

·Assist with cash flow forecasting and treasury management.

Qualifications & Experience

·~10 years of progressive roles in finance, investment banking, strategic planning, consulting.

·~4 years of successful experience in leading a finance or business planning function.

·BS degree in Finance or Economics and technical related field with excellent academic record. MBA preferred.

·Excellent Excel knowledge and experience working in different software systems (e.g., NetSuite).

·Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to effectively develop relationships with stakeholders.

·Experience with corporate development and M&A integration is a plus.

·Experience working at a SaaS or technology company is a plus.

Location:

Salt Lake City, Utah, but for the right candidate are willing to consider remote.
