Vp Finance & Accounting - Manufacturing

The VP of Finance & Accounting is a key member of the organization’s leadership team and serves as a top advisor to the CEO, Finance and Operations departments.

Education, Experience and Requirements:

• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
• Evaluates and advises on the impact of long term planning, introduction of new programs, strategies and regulatory action.
• Contributing to the overall management of the company, as part of the senior management team
• Leads the organization’s financial planning and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with mission and strategic plans, effective use of resources, and the long-term viability of the organization.
• Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
• 5 years minimum experience as a VP of Finance preferably within the CPG food manufacturing industry
• Oversees all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• Acting as the business partner for the CEO and Finance team in providing financial guidance and Counsel on all major strategic issues.
• Maintains executive responsibility for financial operations, including working capital, capital expenditures, taxes, budget, cash flows and general accounting.
• Provides executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities. Provides recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
• 10+ years total accounting or finance experience
• Directs and oversees annual audit process.
• Manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company, parent organizations and multiple legal entities.
• Ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
