Job Description

Job Title: VMware and Storage Engineer

Job Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Job Type: Full Time


The responsibilities of Engineer III- VMware and Storage include the following:

·Implement, Maintain and Support VMware vSphere

·Implement, Maintain and Support VMware vROps, Skyline and other related VMware infrastructure and monitoring tools.

·Implement, Maintain and Support DNS, DHCP, SSL Certificates and internal CA servers.

·In accordance with change management policy, make changes to system software and hardware so that performance meets company’s objectives and maintain SLA’s.

·Experience with implementing and maintaining anti-virus on systems.

·Experience with SCCM and patch management for monthly security updates and patches.

·Manage and apply necessary system security access.

·Analyze performance indicators to ensure that systems are operating efficiently.

·Advance knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and associated products.

·Build and maintain Windows servers and associated applications in a highly available, scalable, and secure environment.

·Hands on experience with installing/racking physical servers and appliances.

·Installing and configuring ESX-i on physical hosts for vSphere.

·Basic knowledge of SAN/WAN/LAN networking

·Exposure and experience with Azure as an extension of the Windows Server environment.

·Perform root cause analysis for VMware and Windows related issues.

·Linux Red hat and other Linux OS experience is a plus.

·Team player and ability to work well with others.

·Experience working in the Healthcare Industry will be an added advantage.

·Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
