The Visual Merchandiser’s role is to ensure that the image and aesthetics of the brand is effectively communicated through the MaxMara Visual merchandising guidelines in our NY Metro concession locations. The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining standards of the store and is the liaison between Management/Staff and the VM Office New York.

Responsibilities:

VM is responsible for executing monthly rotations as well as seasonal Window installations and facilitating in store events/activities.

• Maintain Windows and merchandising to ensure that Visual standards are upheld.

- Survey store windows

- Mannequin styling and placement

- Merchandising

- lighting

• Manage completions by subsequently updating buy book(s). implement newly delivered product onto the sales floor.

• Efficient in preparing and organizing product by changing hangers, steaming and placing in buy book order

• Photograph the store after each rotation for maintenance of the Windows and merchandising • Conduct a walk-through of the store following each rotation, explaining the logic and specifics of the floor move to the staff.

• Monitor Floral arrangements and plants within the store and notify the Visual Office with necessary replenishment.

• Communicate with Regional and/or store management regarding store’s Sales goal and Event calendar

• Organize Drawers and closets on the sales floor as well as the Visual Prop Area

• The VM must maintain constant and clear communication with the Visual Office New York. All pertinent information must be communicated in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications & Experience:

• Fashion degree preferred

• In store experience is a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite

• Extremely organized with attention to detail

• Strong communication, interpersonal & problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work flexible hours, when needed on project bases

• Ability to lift 10-25lbs

Travel: VM will work primarily in our concession locations, with additional travel throughout the Tri state area.
