Job Description


We have an opportunity for a Virtual Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be designing, implementing, and hosting virtual and in-person training programs and sessions at military hospitals in a virtual (remote) and in-person setting. Coordinating with hospitals for training schedules and aiding in the organizational change management


Typical Responsibilities Include


  • Designing, implementing, and hosting virtual and in-person training programs and sessions at military hospitals in a virtual (remote) and in-person setting. Coordinating with hospitals for training schedules and aiding in the organizational change management
  • Communicating with subject-matter experts on instructional design methods and their specific deliverables.
  • Developing classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals according to specifications, including 508 compliance, team style guides, and agency brand requirements.
  • Designing and facilitating training in-person and remotely.
  • Assessing training effectiveness for continued improvement and increased course offerings.


Qualifications


Required Skills:


  • Health IT background
  • 1-2 years minimum of training and/or education experience
  • Excellent writing and communication
  • Leadership skills and ability to direct mid-level trainers and the overall training program
  • Strong knowledge of military culture and organization
  • Remote/Onsite – Remote most of the time, significant travel across the United States and occasional OCONUS travel.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to train non-technical users on how to use software
  • US Citizenship required and must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Organization and reporting skills
  • Enterprise software deployment experience
  • Training program design skills to create programs that will have the best impact among users
