Virtual Teacher And Content Creator

Patchwork Academy, Inc. is an education nonprofit providing teachers and students with an alternative and personalized education model. We are a community of teachers working together as a community to share resources, digital tools, and platforms to create multiple income streams. Teachers make their own schedules and can create their own courses. We also offer completed courses they can choose to deliver on their own schedule.

This is an independent contractor/1099 position.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an education specialist on a teaching team and an admin team
• Attend community meetings with fellow teachers
• Create and deliver courses on Outschool and/or Teachable
• Create the life you want!
• Create digital content
• Assist with our nonprofit projects
• Lead (paid) professional development, as needed
• Attend occasional board meetings

Qualifications

• E-learning and online teaching experience (preferred)
• Curriculum development experience (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Teaching certificate issued from any state or country (required)
• Ability to pass a background check (required)
• Excellent educational technology skills
