Video Content Creator At Opusclip (Full-Time)

About the role:

Opus Clip is seeking a creative Video Content Creator, a native video storyteller, to join our Growth Marketing team. You will be responsible for producing 7 to 10 pieces of short form and long form video content per week to fuel our ad campaigns and strengthen our social media presence, driving user acquisition for Opus Clip. You will work directly with our Head of Growth and Design Lead, to achieve the biggest impact possible.

Responsibilities:

• Organic Video Content: Lead the production of educational and entertainment video content for owned YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Your videos will be rooted in a profound understanding of our product value and its diverse use cases, including product education, thought leadership, and showcase, etc.
• Video Creation for Ads: Produce and craft compelling video creatives for social media and YouTube ad campaigns. Partner with the performance marketing team to identify opportunities, experiment with ad variations, and stand out in the crowded digital space, all aiming to achieve a top-tier ROI.
• Social Media Growth: Develop and execute a robust social content strategy and brand communication plan. Leverage video SEO analytics, proactively engage with social mentions from users and partners, and drive organic traffic growth and word-of-mouth engagement.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaborations
• Startup experience preferred; strong self-organization and motivation
• Graphic (Figma) or motion design skills are a plus
• 5+ years of experience in video content creation, skilled in high-quality video recording and editing, for both long-form and short-form videos
• Have a home studio (or daily access to an outside studio) with a DSLR or similar camera, professional lighting, microphone and other production necessities
• Deep enthusiasm for content-driven growth and AI video products
• Established track record as a high-performing video creator preferred

Collaboration Requirements:

• This is a remote job, preferably in the US time zone, with at least 3+ hours of overlap with Shanghai.

Compensation:

• Pay ranges from $70K - $100K; Offers Equity
