Vice President – Payroll Solutions
United States (Remote), or Plano, TX or Somerset, NJ
The Vice President of Payroll Solutions is a leadership role that requires leveraging of industry connections, channel partnerships to secure new Payroll Solutions Customers & support growth opportunities within existing clients. The role direct reports to Executive Vice President of Sales based out of NYC area & requires close collaboration & team work to increase company’s business in the Payroll Solutions/Services segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage a sales plan to include strategic relationships with channel partners, industry contacts, and customer prospect opportunities.
- Maintain prospect pipeline within the established platform.
- Actively participate in professional organizations geared toward Payroll Solutions/Services.
- Works with EVP to develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to promote and increase sales. Works with other departments in the company, when necessary to improve and develop new tools, analyze data, and identify new target accounts or markets.
- Develops and implements sale strategies to target vertical markets, grass roots penetration and sales strategies specific to business unit and/or geographies. Meet with customers to assess their needs and develop proposal to provide solutions to their Payroll challenges.
- Achieve financial/sales metrics as outlined by the EVP.
- Foster relationships with businesses, leaders, and professional networks continuously, building a pipeline of future clients who are attracted to the Payroll Solutions provided by Net2Source.
- Focus on Business development and diversification in keeping with divisional strategies, financial plans, and profitable growth goals.
- Drive the coordination, analysis, and support of all sales efforts, in collaboration with internal departments, from the initial conversation with prospects through follow-up meetings, RFI/RFP response management, solution presentation design, and delivery, and determine the best pricing model to provide Net2Source with optimum market advantage to achieve the award of the business.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors, market trends, and innovation to position Net2Source as a disruptor in the Payroll Solutions space.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal), including high emotional intelligence, the ability to gain acceptance of ideas, and the ability to build trust.
- Driven, energetic, and tenacious; willing to work extended hours when necessary and perform at a high level of productivity.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and attend networking events.
- Highly adaptable to change.
- Exceptional customer service skills and business ethics.
- Working knowledge of desktop computers and MS Office Suite Excel, Word, MS Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to partner and communicate with staff and clients, including Executive levels.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.
- 10-20 years of experience in Payroll Solutions/Services (strongly prefer Payroll Solutions focused sales experience).
- Bachelor's Degree in any domain.
- Detail-oriented, critical thinking, problem solver.
- Experience in selling Payroll Solutions for US & Global Market.
