Position Overview


The Vice President, Partner Programs will report directly to the Chief Digital Officer and play a critical role in the development of the Partner Sales and Relationship organization. This leader will develop and execute the strategic plans and initiatives to grow the revenues of the existing customers and expand the partner base through a variety of offerings including digital solutions. The leader will foster strong relationships with our key stakeholders of Fleets and Installers.


Essential job functions:


Create pipeline and execution plan to grow sales and expand the partner network


  • Responsibility for developing and maintaining the sales budget and ensuring profitable growth.
  • Perform analysis on programs and develop recommendations based on data and experience.
  • Own the P&L for the B2B partner program line of business. Currently this group focuses on fleets and installers as stakeholders
  • Optimize the sales organizational structure to create a culture of success and support ongoing business and goal achievement.
  • Manage key customers and lead the major accounts team to continued success.
  • Develop a fluid understanding of the competitive landscape, as well as that of the customer base.
  • Collaborate with Pricing to manage strategy across various channels and programs. .
  • Build relationships and forge new partnerships across various business entities like fleets, national regional and independent tire installers as well as other potential groups
  • Develop and manage the sales team to consistently deliver profitable growth through accountability and recognizing successes.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives for the Sales organization that expand stakeholder engagement with the SimpleTire Platform flywheel and grow share of business revenue and profitability.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments within the organization.
  • Leverage existing contacts and cultivate long-term, sustainable, value-based relationships with existing partners.
  • Recognize when problems need solutions; a committed problem solver.
  • Contribute significantly to innovate and develop new solutions for the market by working closely with cross functional teams internally
  • Identify new business opportunities regionally to expand the programs..


Hold Teams Accountable for Results


  • Provide weekly one on one coaching with sales team members.
  • Set sales targets and performance goals by region based on divisional plans.
  • Review sales calls and provide coaching to team members.
  • Measure individual performance goals for sales team members.
  • Create individual performance metrics for the sales team.


Work Cross Functionally within the Organization & with External Partners to Improve Customer Service


  • Establish regular cadence with DTC Sales, Supplier Relations, Analytics, Logistics and Finance teams to improve processes and communications.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Customer Experience to better align the organization with customer demand for future growth strategy.
  • Define digital product offerings alongside Product, Tech, and Platform teams.

Minimum Job Requirements


  • 10+ years in sales management and customer development
  • Microsoft Office, CRM Tool, Analytics & Reporting, Google
  • College Degree or equivalent work experience required


Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required


  • Demonstrated understanding of and/or experience with the automotive industry selling products and services.
  • Sales Team Management & Development, C-Suite Customer Presentation Skills, Problem Solving, Sales Strategies Implementation, Prior success in building out sales organizations with proven track record of sales and profit growth in an ecommerce and digital solutions environment


Working Conditions and Physical Effort


  • Continuous viewing of a computer monitor and data entry.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Travel as necessary (<20%).
  • Talking through the computer for many meetings and one-to-one conversations
