Job title: VP of Sales

Our client, a world leader in robotics manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Vice President (VP) of Sales. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the organization, leading the sales team to meet and exceed company sales objectives and contribute significantly to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet the company's ambitious growth goals.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and other sales and marketing functions.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Use a data-driven approach to sales management to assess and refine strategies and tactics.
  • Oversee key sales operations, including deal pipeline, sales reporting, sales process optimization, and sales contract negotiations.
  • Work closely with the marketing, finance, and product development teams to ensure a consistent and integrated approach.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the industry.


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry
  • At least 10 years of experience in a senior sales role, preferably within the robotics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of the robotics market, including customers, technologies, and
  • Must be comfortable with up to 50% travel. (East Coast)
  • Demonstrated success in strategic sales planning and execution.


The VP of Sales will report directly to the CEO. The individual selected for this role will have the distinct opportunity to influence not just the direction and success of the company, but also to leave a significant impact on the entire robotics manufacturing landscape.
