- Drive performance by reviewing and understanding financial performance metrics while driving accountability through the business.
- Represent Alta in industry groups and in the public.
- Developing knowledge of market needs and Alta’s relative strengths and weaknesses in meeting them.
- Responsible for inventory management in APR.
- Build and develop the talent capability within the division by c oaching team members to set and meet targets, define, and complete activities tied to targets.
- Identifying and nurturing customer relationships, discovering needs, quantifying how Alta can add value, generating sales and providing solutions.
- Work with Sales Training group to develop and implement effective sales training and sales meeting cadence/agenda.
- Communicate and cross-functionally work across all business groups.
- Formulate programs and initiatives which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation. This will include pipeline and forecast management.
- Working with Regional VPs to develop and execute sales plans and results.
- Lead OEM relationship development.
- Support all marketing efforts including CRM participation.
- Must promote, support, and live Alta’s cultural values and principles.
- Strong negotiating and decision-making skills.
- Must be a strategic thinker to anticipate and plan for the business' future needs.
- Willingness to travel up-to 50% of the time.
- Strong organizational capability building / talent acquisition ability.

- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven P&L experience.
- Recognized as a top performer with a proven track record.
- Cross-functional and / or general management experience is a plus.
- Experience leading across different regions is a plus.
- 5 plus years business leadership experience, preferably in the equipment industry.
- Proficiency in strategy deployment, change management, operational excellence.
