Job Description

Position: Vice President of Manufacturing Salary: $200,000 - $260,000 + Bonus and Equity options Location: Midwest (RELOCATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE) A leading global Distributor and Manufacturer of Industrial Products, with a rich history of providing high-quality industrial products and solutions to customers across a wide range of industries. With a strong commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, they have established themselves as a trusted partner in the industrial sector. We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced manufacturing leader with Cold Heading manufacturing experience and a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and achieving results. This role reports directly to the CEO. This position will have full P&L responsibility for this operation. You will think strategically, act and execute in order to deliver on company goals and objectives. You will be a Lean subject matter expert who develops and executes action plans and coaches staff and other leaders to drive exceptional financial performance. The Vice President, Manufacturing will be responsible for transforming the plant into a lean thinking, problem solving, process-focused facility where continuous improvement is embedded in the day to day. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES: • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive manufacturing strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives. • Operational Excellence: Lead all manufacturing operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency are maintained. • Team Management: Build and mentor a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Cost Management: Oversee budgeting and cost control measures to optimize manufacturing expenses while maintaining product quality. • Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with supply chain teams to streamline processes and maximize inventory efficiency. • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control and assurance programs to meet or exceed customer expectations. • Innovation and Technology: Identify and adopt advanced manufacturing technologies to improve processes and drive innovation. • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or any other relevant degree. • Master's or MBA highly desirable but not required. • Proven experience with successful plant turnover and improvement. • At least 5 years of experience leading a cold heading manufacturing operation and management (in its entirety). • Experience leading organization-wide transformation. • Proven experience developing high performing teams that objectively contributed to achieving bottom line company results. • A work style that is self-managed, rigorous, and keenly organized. • A strong strategic and business mindset; commercial acumen is key in addition to technical strengths. • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills. • Able to analyze data from both internal and external sources to make decisions and recommendations
