Job Description

Ergomotion, a global leader in adjustable base sleep technology, is seeking a Vie President of Account Management to join our team! Incumbents for this role must be based in Lexington, Kentucky or within a 1-hour travel distance from/to Lexington.


Position Objective:

Under general direction, this role will direct and oversee the account management area managing relationships, and developing policies, plans, and strategies designed to grow business and revenue in accordance with Ergomotion's goals and objectives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and implement strategic short- and long-term account management plans, as well as client retention and account strategies designed to grow the business and increase revenue.
  • Develop, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key senior level and operational customers.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of Account Management area.
  • Own overall account satisfaction for account management and service; provide high-level correspondence and communication with clients and provide strategic counsel and pitch recommendations to client.
  • Lead account management team, displaying high standards of client care at all times, ensuring services are provided in a consistent and timely fashion and always providing helpful and friendly guidance to clients.
  • Work closely with our business and technology partners to identify, develop and implement solutions and product improvements.
  • Maintain day-to-day contact with clients regarding strategy and overall business.
  • Participate in the establishment of corporate goals.
  • Manage the Account Management team to optimize and maximize coverage needs for all relationships.
  • Coach Account Management team in identifying issues and resolving before they become critical and in resolving already escalated client issues. Resolve escalated customer account issues in conjunction with operations (claims, service, systems) as required.
  • Attend and present at client meetings and new business presentations.
  • Provide new business support and help drive client growth.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field; plus 10+ years of experience in account management at a strategic level. Engineering degree or background is a plus.
