Looking for a VP of Human Resources to join our team!

We are searching for a Vice President, People to join our community that is employee focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a culture. This position reports directly to the CEO of Consulate.

The position is a "hands-on" leadership role, requiring comfort with and the ability to travel to care centers (skilled nursing facilities) in five states (Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia). The ideal candidate should reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the five states.

Major Responsibilities

  • Work with the company's executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
  • The position is a "hands-on" leadership role, requiring comfort with and the ability to travel to care centers (skilled nursing facilities) in five states (Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia).
  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
  • Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results as well as the development of a successful management team.
  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
  • Responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of recruiting, employee relations, retention, employee engagement and succession planning.
  • Position is directly responsible for leading the recruiting and administrative Human Resources employees, and has joint responsibility (along with the Regional VPs of Operations) for the Regional HR Directors.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least five years of multi-unit HR experience.
  • You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
