Job Description

* This role is required to be onsite in Minneapolis, Minnesota *



The Vice President - Global Human Resources provides leadership by proactively identifying global HR needs and executing plans that deliver results to the global executive management team(s) and shareholders. This position will be a culture carrier for the organization and provides direct support to the global executive and regional HR leadership teams.



We are seeking an experienced HR executive to drive strategies that build and strengthen organizational culture while ensuring efficiency and organizational alignment. Our ideal candidate will have experience leading strategic HR initiatives in a global manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of being a trusted, results-oriented, HR executive.


RESPONSIBILITIES


·Establish and implement global HR strategies that effectively communicate and support the company’s mission, strategy and overall business operations objectives.

·Function as a strategic business advisor to global executive management regarding key organizational and people-related issues.

·Develop and recommend policies and procedures for the effective and consistent operations of key global HR processes and systems.

·Collaborate with regional HR leadership to establish a talent management strategy and succession plan that proactively supports the objectives of the company.

·Provide overall guidance and support to the HR function in the areas of talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, engagement and retention, training, leadership development and total rewards.

·Lead acquisition and integration efforts from a people perspective.

·Identify key performance indicators for the organization’s Human Resource functions and assesses the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.

·Partner with leadership to execute effective communication and change management strategies that clearly communicate organizational values and expectations.


EXPERIENCE


·Bachelor’s degree, Human Resources Certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) and/or Advanced Degree (MBA, MS/MA in HR or related field) preferred.

·15 years of progressive Human Resources experience including at least 5 years of executive Human Resources experience.

·Global experience, ideally in a manufacturing/distribution environment.

·Solid understanding of international employment law.

·Ability to lead strategic initiatives with a balance for solving practical problems.

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·Proven desire to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.

·Results-oriented, dynamic, flexible and can easily link HR strategies to business outcomes.

·Proven technical expertise across all aspects of Human Resources.

·Strong technical aptitude and experience with various HRIS systems.
