Job Description
A venture capital firm in New York City is actively seeking an experienced and diligent professional to join their staff as their new Venture Capital Investor. In this role, the Venture Capital Investor will be responsible for sourcing, vetting, and executing new deals.


Responsibilities


The Venture Capital Investor will be responsible for:


  • Working with the operating partners to analyze, design, and implement pilots and roll-outs
  • Assisting in drafting and negotiating favorable deal terms and structures in exchange for the strategic value provided by the company
  • Leveraging broader company subject-matter expertise in vetting new technologies and assessing strategic solution fit within the company
  • Helping structure deals
  • Sourcing of new deals through proactive networking, including attending conferences, building, and maintaining relationships with accelerators and VC funds, and direct outreach to startups
  • Conducting business due diligence and financial analysis
