Ux / Ui Designer Jobs

Are you a UX / UI Designer with 5+ years of experience, and a solid understanding of the buyer journey and how design can impact user behavior and decisions? Our client is seeking a UX / UI Designer to join their team in a remote, 40 hr/week contract role. This role is responsible for redefining their client’s digital presence, ensuring their redesigned website crafts insightful and impactful connections and aligns seamlessly with each stage of the buyer journey.
Portfolio Note: Candidates must provide proven experience in UX/UI design, with an emphasis on websites that reinforce a clear and user-centric buyer journey in order to be considered for this role.
You Will:

• Review & QA: Partner with the product engineering team, ensuring their implementation mirrors the intended design and buyer journey experience from start to finish
• Redesign Facilitation & Buyer Journey Alignment: Guide the UX/UI redesign with a comprehensive understanding of the buyer journey, ensuring designs meet users at each phase from awareness to decision-making
• Document: Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, predicting potential issues within the buyer journey, and crafting detailed design documentation for clarity and direction
• Conduct & Gather User Research & Feedback: Maintain a results-driven approach, focusing on how users traverse the buyer journey on our platform; gather feedback and iterate on the design to enhance user conversion
• Collaborate: Work integrally with SALs, CCSs, and product engineering, advocating for client needs, to ensure the website reflects the requirements and aspirations of our key stakeholders
• Stay Updated: Stay attuned to industry standards related to UX design for e-commerce and lead generation, ensuring our website assists users at every touchpoint of their journey

You Have:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in UX/UI design, with an emphasis on websites that reinforce a clear and user-centric buyer journey
• A portfolio that emphasizes redesign projects, focusing on the buyer journey, showcasing a problem-solving ethos, and tangible results
• Demonstrable understanding of the buyer journey and how design can impact user behavior and decisions
• Bachelor's degree in UX design, graphic design, or a related field (advanced degrees or training are a plus)
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
• Expertise in the latest design software and prototyping tools
• A history of effective cross-team collaboration, especially with product engineering teams
