Job Description

ThriveAfter is working with Walnut Willows for UX Design Projects

(Volunteer Intern position)


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in user research activities such as conducting interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather valuable insights.
  • Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to enhance the quality of design deliverables.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure the implementation of design solutions aligns with the intended user experience.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows.
  • Support the design team in translating user feedback and business requirements into user-centered design solutions.
  • Assist in the creation of design documentation, including design guidelines, style guides, and specifications.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay updated on the latest UX/UI design trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of UX design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in UX design, HCI, or a related field. Recent graduates may also be considered.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design projects and thought process is highly desirable.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
