Description & Requirements


The Lead- Product Design manages all aspects of the design process- from research and ideation to the creative conceptualization and design delivery for digital experiences. This individual will act as a strategic partner and work closely with Product- Engineering- and Marketing to deliver impactful design and digital strategies. The Lead- Product Design will inspire and motivate a team of designers and creatives to transform Kraft Heinz’ digital presence.


Responsibilities


  • Lead the team in setting and maintaining Design Systems
  • Champion and deliver the digital product vision and roadmap and improve the product design process
  • Build and lead a team of Product designers in managing the ideation and design implementation of a variety of projects
  • Drive and influence product vision- strategy- and process with a cross-functional team of Designers- Product Managers- Marketers- and Engineers to deliver best-in-class digital products and experiences to our consumers
  • Empower and mentor designers and contribute to a collaborative and creative culture
  • A deep understanding of user behavior and digital experience- you will use data and user research to inform design decisions in an iterative manner
  • Encourage large-scale transformational change across the organization- including but not limited to- embedding new digital practices- standards- and processes through the business to drive growth and profitability
  • Demonstrate high-quality design practices. This includes participation in all aspects of design research- ideation- strategy- interaction design- and visual design
  • Lead designers in expanding mastery of the business goals of each design request and pushing back on stakeholders with innovative design proposals


Qualifications


  • Ability to lead and direct design thinking for a wide range of digital products
  • 2+ years of experience managing designers
  • Strategic thought leader with a passion for design and with a proven ability to set a vision- strategy- and goals that motivate and inspire the organization to deliver
  • In-depth knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to excel in a collaborative- dynamic- and results-driven environment
  • 7+ years of design experience
  • Bachelor degree in design- interaction design- or another related field

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment


We believe our office environment fuels our collaboration, connection & community as an organization and allows our employees to grow toward greatness.
