Earl Stewart Toyota, a highly esteemed and customer-focused dealership, is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Used Car Manager to join our growing team. We are well-known for our unique and positive approach to the car selling and buying process. We're particularly interested in candidates with Toyota-specific experience and those who have a comprehensive understanding of the Toyota Certified Used Vehicle (TCUV) program.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, price and appraise trade-ins and purchase used vehicles.
  • Oversee the reconditioning and detailing process for all used vehicles.
  • Develop and execute strategies to market and promote sales of used cars.
  • Maintain an optimal inventory mix of used cars to meet market demands.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve customer relationships, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Finance team to ensure the dealership's profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, pricing, and inventory management strategies of local and national competitors.
  • Manage and motivate retail sales team
  • Manage wholesale vehicle sales

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the auto dealership industry.
  • Proven track record of success with used car sales, ideally with Toyota and TCUV program experience.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive sales, appraisal tools, and software.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications and databases.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
