Title: Senior Analyst, Payments Technology
Reports to: Senior Manager, Technology
Overview:
URBN is a leading company in the Payments space, and the URBN Technology Global Payments team enables traditional and alternative payments across all channels, markets, and brands for the URBN group (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, and nuuly). We are the clearing house of knowledge on the latest fintech technologies driving payment enablement, compliance, devices, channels, and trends across the global payments landscape.
Responsibilities:

• Research payment-impacting or payment-adjacent incidents or issues and engage & manage appropriate teams for resolution
• Ensure compliance with external Payment regulations and requirements
• Manage relationships for various technology providers within the Payment domain
• Monitor key payment success indicators for both in-store and direct-to-consumer channels
• Be the Payments expert on all sizes of projects and to all groups within URBN Tech or across the Brands
• Work with external providers, technology groups, and internal groups outside of Tech to implement improvements or compliance initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve these key indicators, and identify new measures of success

Job Skills:

• Navigational knowledge of Linux and SQL
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from senior management to associate level; ability to motivate colleagues outside the team
• Background in Payments is a must, preferably in multi-channel Retail
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills to research issues, find the root cause, own the implementation of the fix, and identify permutations to prevent future related issues
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and flexible with day-to-day job responsibilities

Bonus Skills:

• Experience identifying and implementing performance monitors for APIs and webhooks
• Experience managing global technology deployment project(s)
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• This is not a developer position, however a background in Technology would be a plus

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or coding Bootcamp graduate
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Travel: Some travel may be required
