Operates ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
1. Registered or registry eligible sonographer (ARDMS or ARRT).
  • Registry eligible candiates must obtain certification within one year of hire date.
2. Certified in Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
PREFERRED:
1. Some departments may require advanced certifications, i.e vascular or breast.
