Ui/Ux Designer Jobs

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our UX team. This role will elevate our product, increase brand awareness, and directly impact how customers experience Contactually. This role has a passion for and understanding of user-centered design as well as a strong portfolio of work which includes both desktop and mobile applications. This position is located in our Washington, DC office.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure projects are well-defined, high-impact, and feasible to successfully execute on.
• Use a design system and pattern library to work faster and promote consistency and cohesion.
• Focus on the customer, their experience, and helping them to achieve their goals through great product design.
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure design and visual communication contributes to enhancing the company/brand image.
• Work closely with other designers to contribute to a cohesive user experience across all products.

What You’ll Bring

• You love a challenge, can work quickly, and can quickly pivot when required
• You have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, a collaborative work ethic, and excellent design skills
• 2+ years of relevant UI/UX experience
• Expert skills using popular design software, such as Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc for both web and mobile application interfaces
• Experience using a user-centered approach to designing software, including prototyping and responsive design
• Ability to give and receive feedback in a rapidly iterative environment
• Experience working with and managing design systems
• Understanding of web technologies (object-oriented JavaScript, HTML, CSS), and web standards.
