Position Overview
Indagare is seeking a Travel Planning Support representative to join our team to service our Quick Desk, providing quick turnaround on hotel bookings and concierge services, as well as weekend coverage for our Bookings team. Reporting to our Operations Manager, this position will be one of two members on the Travel Planning Support team, overlapping weekends and weekdays.
What You’ll Do
- Establish strong relationships with travel partners and destination experts
- You must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday), as well as three weekdays.
- Help troubleshoot weekend urgencies and emergencies with the support of the trip designing teams who own the client accounts.
- Corresponding by phone and/or email with hotels and other suppliers to check rates and availability
- Take on projects for the Bookings Leadership Team (and other managers as needed).
- This position is currently remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.
- Expand your knowledge of the travel industry and destinations via Indagare training to grow into a Trip Designer or Operations Lead role
- Capturing all communications and travel plans and communicating it to the Trip Designers who own the client accounts
- Support the Trip Designers by ensuring all-important details are gathered to put together a trip itinerary. This includes:
- Making and confirming reservations and services
- Creating and editing detailed trip itineraries
- Service the company’s Quick Desk, confirming last-minute hotel reservations and concierge arrangements for our members and sending them confirmations.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet key milestones on time and with quality
- 1+ years of full-time professional experience preferred
- A natural ability to deliver excellent customer service in line with our hospitality ethos
- Slack, Salesforce and Zoom experience preferred.
- Ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple assignments at once in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently
- A passion for travel planning and a strong desire to grow into a travel specialist
- Technical skills to get the job done. This includes being proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets).
