What you’ll do:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for department staff including hotel accommodations, rental vehicles, flights, and any other needed arrangements according to department policy and procedures
- Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance
- Use department purchasing card to secure travel arrangements for department staff. Collect receipts from staff in order to reconcile purchasing card statement every month
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Office of Administration and DHEWD purchasing policies
- Work with hotels and other vendors to resolve any billing discrepancies
- Perform other related work as assigned
- Manage the DHEWD Travel Desk inbox in Microsoft Outlook
Minimum Qualifications
- (Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours for one year.)
- Experience using an agency purchasing card and reconciling monthly statements strongly preferred
- Two or more years of related experience and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency
