Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, schedules transportation and drives study participants to and from appointments.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Demonstrated knowledge of Forsyth County.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION

  • Formal training in First Aid.
  • Valid North Carolina driver's license.
  • Demonstrated safe driving record.
  • CPR certification.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Receives referrals from study personnel, logs transportation activities, and schedules transportation rounds.
  • Drives study participants to and from appointments.
  • Maintains use file on each participant requiring transportation.
  • Maintains accurate mileage and expense records of transportation services.
  • Maintains aesthetic appearance of vehicle.
  • Notifies leasing service of problems with and condition of vehicle if necessary.
  • Responds to emergencies with participants as necessary.
  • Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
