Job Description
Responsibilities:

Peraton is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. Peraton serves as a valued partner to essential government agencies across the intelligence, space, cyber, defense, civilian, health, and state and local markets. Every day, our employees do the can’t be done, solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers. This role is based out of Washington D.C and is a hybrid opportunity with our team.


What you will do
:

  • Provide strategic training and development services by proactively delivering an ongoing campaign to identify IT tasks that can be solved by the end user with improved automation and intelligence.
  • Support HHS OIG users in the use of these templates.
  • Use of existing channels including OIG intranet, emails, videos, and infographics, as well as future channels for improved customer communications.
  • Implement ways to make all end-user-targeted content compliant with Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • Drafting communications (e.g., web pages, emails, newsletters, and videos) to guide users through the self-help steps, and publishing and promoting the content.
  • Develop training campaigns to facilitate maximum user adoption with new and existing systems and tools (e.g. Office 365). This shall require working in concert with IT project teams and other HHS OIG offices.
  • Develop standards for HHS OIG internal and external communications, including, but not limited to, creation of high-quality templates for PowerPoint presentations, reports, newsletters, and marketing materials.

What you will need:
  • This is a hybrid role is based out of Washington DC. Must reside close enough to go into office when needed.
  • 5 years of experience developing and delivering communications via web pages, emails, newsletters, and videos.
  • Must be able to achieve public trust security clearance
  • 5 years of experience developing standards for communications, including, but not limited to, creation of high-quality templates for PowerPoint presentations, reports, newsletters, and marketing materials.
  • U.S. Citizenship or have been a permanent resident for more than 3 years.
  • Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years, Master's degree with 3-5 years, PhD with 0-2 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with 508 compliance requirements
  • Experience developing training campaigns to facilitate maximum user adoption with new and existing systems and tools (e.g. Office 365).
