Statement of Purpose: The Training Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Director with creating, implementing, and managing our learning & development programs, new employee orientation, career paths, and performance & talent management processes to support business objectives and strategy implementation. This position requires proficiency in instructional design and training facilitation.


Compensation: This position is hourly and non-exempt from overtime.


Major Tasks, Duties, And Responsibilities


  • Maintain and publish training schedule and/or calendar.
  • Build, plan and schedule training through Absorb, our Learning Management Systems (LMS). Manage project and make efficient use of resources.
  • Assist with compliance training completion and support facilitation of compliance training courses.
  • Create, design and develop interactive live, e-learning and blended courses using authoring tools such as Create, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia etc.
  • Coordinate activities for training events including reserving training rooms, sending notifications, scheduling team members and coaches, creating and preparing course materials including evaluations, handouts, and other training materials. Coordinate food and beverages for participants as needed.
  • Update LMS as needed, including assigning curriculum, adding and deleting new courses and team members.
  • Assess training needs and develop and manage appropriately.
  • Monitor, update, track and maintain training records, courses and documentation.
  • Assist with facilitation of New Team Member orientation, Vibrant Living, and Customer Service classes.
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of coaching and buddy programs.
  • Self-Directed with an above average attention to detail.
  • Compile, analyze, and manage training data and reports.
  • Order, organize, and track training supplies and materials.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 1 year experience or more in Instructional Design, Learning Management Systems, and Authoring Tools to build online classes required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 that includes Excel, Word, PPT, Forms, Outlook, and TEAMS.
  • Experience applying adult learning principles preferred.
  • Experience with building activity-based training modules preferred.
  • Possess current or have the ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
  • Associate degree in related field required.
  • Preferred Bachelor degree in human resources, organizational development or equivalent combination of coursework/certification and work experience in Human Resources or directly related field.
