This position is based in the Pee Dee Region for the Change Management Team, which includes the following locations: Chesterfield, Clarendon, Darlington, Dillion, Florence, Georgetown, Horry, Kingstree, Lee, Marion, Marlboro, Sumter.

Responsibilities Of The Change Management Facilitator


  • Travel throughout the Midlands Region to train and assess both new and existing employees on SCDMV existing policies/procedures/processes and associated updates and system changes. Conduct assessments, record results and forward to Change Management Coordinator on a weekly basis.
  • Supports the New Employee Training at DMV headquarters in Blythewood SC upon consultation with Operations, Branch Services, and Training.
  • Perform driver and vehicle services such as administering knowledge tests, registering and titling vehicles, surrendering license plates and boxing plates, registering applicants to vote and selective service if required, issuing driver license and managing public inquiries. Collect and reconcile all fees related to driver and vehicle services and prepare daily report
  • Based in the Midlands, but travels to other offices required by Change Management Coordinator to conduct training or perform other duties as required.
  • Administer road test for all classes and evaluate applicants' ability to drive.
  • Assists with the training and certification of License Examiners and Third-Party Testers on Class D and Class M skills testing. Trains and administers KTE certification for Branch Service employees


Minimum Qualifications


Minimum and Additional Requirements


A Bachelor's degree and relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted with prior Division of State Human resources approval.


Additional Requirements


  • Work requires sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, and constant talking. Exposure to warm/cold temperatures and inclement weather when working outside. Physical skills include lifting, reaching, and climbing in/out of vehicles. Subject to limited overtime and overnight state travel..
  • Thorough and detailed knowledge of SC motor vehicle laws and regulations and SC DMV policies and procedures. Ability to train and mentor customer service employees. Thorough knowledge of driver licensing eligibility requirements. Excellent customer service skills with internal and external customers.
  • The Change Management Facilitator reports directly to the Change Management Coordinator with general supervision.

  • At least (2) years of DMV experience.
  • Must have a valid South Carolina driver’s license with reasonably good driving history.
