Perform various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of residents. The Medication Assistant administers medications as prescribed by the physician, documents the administration, the medication effectiveness, and any noted adverse reactions or side effects under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
• Good inter-department communication and teamwork skills
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Trillium Woods is a LCS Community, compliance with the LCS COVID-19 Policy is required for this position as it is for all LCS Community positions.
• Knowledge in all areas of local Health Department, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies relevant to healthcare services
• The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language
• Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program and TMA program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Registration with State registry required.

Rate of pay starts at $18.75 per hour B.O.E.
