About the company

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to cover the Midwest territory; the ideal candidate will have 5+ years of AV sales experience and you MUST live in the Chicago area.

Role

* Individual contributor role, working from your home office in the Chicago area. Hybrid - in

office work is required once per week.


* $75k-$85k base salary, commensurate with experience. OTE package is $140k, and

commissions are uncapped. A 6-month ramp is there to help ensure success.


*All new clients you bring in are yours for the life of the contract.


*80% of the deals are inbound, and there is minimal cold calling.

*50% travel in your territory (North Midwest) and attendance of relevant trade shows.


*Must have 5 years of experience selling in the commercial AV industry. It is non-negotiable.


*Good communication is critical to success here, both internally and externally.

We are looking for an individual to join our sales team as a Regional Sales Manager serving the Midwest of the country. In this mid-level sales position, you will work closely with customers and potential customers and handle every aspect of customer management. The ideal candidate will be able to provide support as needed and maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will call on leads and provide support for new inquiries. You will prospect and develop new and existing client relationships. You will continually uncover and develop additional sales opportunities via phone, e-mail, social media, in-person visits and all other communication channels available.

Responsibilities:

· Build and develop initial and existing customer relationships

· Perform daily outbound call activity, including customer visits, focused on promoting Mimo’s

suite of products and services to prospects, customers and partners

· Providing day-to-day sales-related customer service on existing accounts and resolving any

issues that may arise

· Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, industry

trends, and competition

· Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and obtain business

requirements.

· Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections

· Communicate effectively with individuals/teams to ensure high quality and timely resolution

of customer requests.

· Via customer visits, phone or email; help external customers in selecting the best

product(s) for their needs. Offer solutions to projects that may be non-standard/non-routine

and require some clarification

· Document customer contact and resolutions in CRM software

· Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business

performance.

· Other duties as needed within the organization


Ideal Background and Specific Professional Skills/Competencies:

· 5-7 years of experience in outside sales/inside sales/account management within the

· Skills required: Pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling, and time

management

· Ability to develop rapport and maintain strong working relationships with internal and

external customers

· Ability to articulate ideas in a clear, concise manner

· A team player with the ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment with a desire

to work with others for broader success

· Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
