Job Description

Under general supervision, responsible for the weekly processing of payroll and timecard accounting for Fluor on site at Logan Aluminum. Other duties include completion of finance and billing admin tasks, and various office administrative duties. Regular work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Monitor the clock alley of craft hourly employees and as needed, subcontract personnel
  • Coordinate data entry of new/rehires, terminations, rate changes, and other miscellaneous changes by Human Resources to ensure timely delivery of these data elements to on site Payroll/Timekeeping
  • Perform data entry, produce, and analyze reports while utilizing standard payroll and timekeeping systems
  • Support a payroll staff and contribute to an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members
  • Conform to compliance documentation for any work practices identified by management
  • Perform miscellaneous payroll duties with some complexity, including daily reconciliation of timecards, record call-ins, updating the infraction database, and issuing required daily reports

Basic Job Requirements

  • Must have experience with badging/timeclock systems and reporting
  • Microsoft Office and Outlook experience a must
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Minimum one year finance support experience required
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • A combination of education and directly related experience equal to three (3) years

Other Job Requirements

  • Forwards craft call-ins via email and voicemail
  • Performs special projects for management as requested
  • Orders office supplies, phones and computers
  • Processes daily mail and miscellaneous office duties
  • Completes Client invoicing & reconciliations as required
  • Consolidates and generates weekly reports of employee hours. Transmits report to Fluor Corporate and Client
  • Assists with monthly forecasting and accruals for Fluor Corporate and Client
  • Manages/tracks attendance of craft personnel
  • As required, performs AP Corrections & Credit Card Statement admin
  • Complies with all Fluor Corporation safety requirements and programs
  • Sorts and sends files for retention as required
  • Processes Vendor Invoices and send to Corporate AP

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong math skills
  • Good understanding of file organization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good leadership and decision-making skills
  • Experience with badge systems, timecard systems
  • Familiarity with Quick Base applications preferred
  • Good personal computer skills to include Microsoft software
