At this time, Nobles is expanding our team and seeking high quality, dedicated individuals willing to be cross-trained in our clean and climate controlled facility.
Nobles Worldwide, Inc., a Ducommun Company, is seeking a Welder II to operate welding equipment to meet companystandards for quality and quantity by performing the following duties:
- Verifies conformance of finished work piece tospecifications
- Grind and clean parts as necessary.
- Set up and operate welding equipment (Spot, TIG,MIG, and Solder) to produce parts which meet established standards for qualityand quantity.
- Keep records of time, job, part operation forproduction reporting.
- May be assigned painting projects as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly
- Participate in planning for new fixtures andjigs.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Keep department work areas clean and orderly forefficiency and safety in accordance with 5S
- Identify problems and initiate corrective actionto minimize scrap and downtime.
- Welds metal parts together using both gaswelding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes.
