• Job Purpose: * To complete work on site in compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and company safety policies.
• Reporting To: * Shop Foreman, and Team Lead

• Responsible For: * Completing assigned tasks daily.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• 6. * Fabricate parts to a tight tolerance that will best benefit the efficiency of shop flow and the job at hand
• 4. * Maintain proper identification of parts per shop order of processes
• 8. * Stay compliant with ISO & AISC standards
• 1. * Set welding machines to setting best used for process being worked with WPS
• 3. * Maintain accurate and reliable documentation

• 5. * Perform routine maintenance of machines and equipment operated
• 7. * Work in a safe, clean manner while following OSHA, ANSI and Company standards and policies

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Must be able to work with government and non-government personnel in a professional and clear manner. Be able to work with different trades and construction focuses to ensure a safe environment without limiting the trades' ability to complete work. Must be able to properly communicate over the phone and in writing to upper management to include Subcontractors, Suppliers, Onsite Staff, Owners, PM's, Superintendents, and Corporate Safety Officer when necessary. Must have good work ethic and be willing to work as a team. Be able to rotate job duties on other machines or working areas as needed. Willing to learn how to operate new machines, processes and possible assembly.

Qualifications

• Ability to problem solve
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Good driving record, valid license - insurable through the company
• Use of shop tools (Tape Measure, Angle Grinders etc.)
• Not afraid of heights
• Know how to read decimal measurements
• Mathematical skill
• Can clearly communicate in person, written, and electronically
• Have experience welding FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, in steel and aluminum
• High school diploma or GED Certificate
• Forklift experience -- minimum of 2 years
• Able to work occasional overtime
• Be able to work both indoors and outdoors
• Be able to stand for several hours at a time
• &nbs p; Must pass government security clearance standards including background checks
• Have a clear understanding of blueprints
• Must be able to pass in-house skill test
• Great time management skills
• Able to read shop drawings
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen test if hired
• Welding experience minimum 4 years

Preferred

• Good understanding of different types of metals and how to identify them
• 2 Years CNC experience
• Forklift/Boom Lift/Scissor Lift Certified
