THE ROLE'S MISSION

We are looking for an experienced Security Manager to help oversee our threat and vulnerability management program. Their main duties include threat hunting, incidence response, and vulnerability management.


WHO YOU NEED TO BE

We are looking for a high-energy, motivated, and passionate person. You are someone that understands threat hunting and knows how to identify anamolies in the logs. You are thorough with incident response processes and has a good understanding of identifying and resolving vulnerabilities in the processes and technologies. You're happy to pitch in where needed in other security functions.


WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • Strong experience with Splunk, Splunk dashboards
  • Knowledge of modern Cloud Infrastructure, for example:
  • 2-3 years of related work experience
  • Experience with SecureWorks or any third party SOC
  • CrowdStrike
  • Okta / Okta Workflows
  • Strong security analysis skills
  • Experience with scanning tools like Rapid7, Qualys, Tenable
  • An infectious positive attitude
  • Familiarity with threat modeling and attack vectors
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and security technologies
  • Knowledge of Operating systems (MacOS, Linux, Windows) and switches and routers
  • Experience with SOC operations
  • MacOS / iOS / TVoS
  • JAMF Pro, JAMF Connect & JAMF Protect + other MDM platforms (Airwatch, Intune. etc..)
  • Meraki
  • GSuite
  • Splunk
  • Strong threat hunting experience
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (python, bash)
  • Proofpoint
  • Experience with Vulnerability Management principles, methodologies and best practices
  • Proficiency in interpreting and prioritizing scan results
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams
  • Experience with Incidence response

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO

  • Create threat models and monitor attack surface
  • Adaptable and able to prioritize ever-evolving threats
  • Develop and manage IR processes, plans and playbooks
  • Closely watch security advisories, NVD and prepare protection mechanisms
  • Manage relationship with outsourced SOC
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and manage vulnerability management processes
  • Monitor, alert and triage incidents

EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
