About the Team
Welcome to the Financials & Planning Machine Learning Team! We are responsible for delivering intelligent and impactful products to our customers, underpinning Workday’s fastest growing line of business. Our work is a blend of product innovation, groundbreaking machine learning methodology and large-scale data processing. About the Role
We are open to hiring at the Director or Sr Manager level depending on background and abilities.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor an impactful team of product managers and data scientists. Provide guidance, support, and career development opportunities to cultivate a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with executive leadership, engineering, data science, design, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Market and Customer Insight: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the machine learning and artificial intelligence space. Engage with customers, prospects, and industry experts to gather insights and validate product strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external collaborators, including customers, to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure customer-centric product development.
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the Financials Machine Learning product strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with the overall company goals.
  • Product Evangelism: Serve as a leader with vision and spokesperson for Workday's machine learning products.
  • Product Development: Lead a team to deliver innovative and scalable machine learning solutions.
  • Product Roadmap and Prioritization: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic priorities.
About You
Basic Qualifications (Director Level)
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence
Basic Qualifications (Sr Manager Level)
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence
Other Qualifications
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong Eye For Business and Customer Focus
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or an equivalent field.
  • Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of machine learning techniques, algorithms, and frameworks. Experience with natural language processing, deep learning, computer vision, or related areas is highly desirable.
  • Leadership Skills: Shown experience leading and developing successful teams.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
