Test Validation Engineer Jobs

We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer who will be responsible for applying expert-level configuration skills and conducting testing procedures in a laboratory or testing environment. The successful candidate should have a strong background in SOC boards and possess the following skills and experience:

• Experience in shell scripting (5-10 years): Proficiency in shell scripting is essential for automating test procedures and enhancing the efficiency of the testing process. The candidate should have substantial experience in developing and maintaining shell scripts.
• Experience in test automation using GPIB / USB, MCS, TCPIP (5-10 years): The candidate should have a proven track record in test automation, utilizing various protocols such as GPIB/USB, MCS, and TCPIP. Experience in developing automated test scripts and frameworks is highly desirable.
• Experience in Analog post silicon validation (5-10 years): The candidate should have extensive experience in conducting post-silicon validation for analog components. This includes validating the functionality and performance of analog circuits and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to other Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) team members.
• Identify and define quality and risk metrics for project teams.
• Perform repeatable testing procedures and processes in a laboratory or testing environment.
• Perform job functions related to application/system performance, threading issues, bottleneck identification, writing efficient and less intrusive code for critical code testing, and troubleshooting system/application intermittent failures.
• Verify the functionality and integrity of triggers, stored procedures, hardware products, or system specifications.
• Serve as a liaison between the test, development, and project management teams.
• Communicate and defend design requirements, feature set, functionality, usability, and limitations of subsystems to the team.
• Interpret and modify code as required, including C/C++, C# batch files, make files, Perl scripts, queries, stored procedures, and triggers.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of software quality assurance practices and a strong aptitude for testing.
• Experience in database programming, such as SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, Informix, and/or DB2.
• Familiarity with personal computer hardware.
• Solid understanding of the software development cycle.
• Development and/or database administration experience using a Microsoft product.
• Software testing experience in a Web-based or Windows client/server environment.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C#, C/C++, SQL, etc.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (required) and some business/functional knowledge or industry experience (preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in a relevant field.
