The Temp Production Designer (PD) of Marketing Services is responsible for ensuring compliance for all approved design files including meticulous review of file format and creation of preflight profiles for each print vendor. The PD will upload files to vendors to meet appropriate dates and be able to work under extremely tight deadlines. The PD is expected to collaborate cross-functionally with designers and product teams to ensure all aspects of projects have been thought through and work with CA’s purchasing and mail houses to ensure USPS approved print materials. The Production Designer understands and maintains knowledge of company branding styles, policies, and messaging guidelines and administers daily use of marketing applications.
- Upload files to vendors to meet appropriate dates and deadlines.
- Provide design and production support for product teams and design team.
- Work with CA’s purchasing and our mail houses to ensure USPS approved print materials.
- Meticulous review of file format, color management, fonts, page structure/master pages, black overprint, trapping, image resolution, text wraps, and more.
- Manage several projects at once with keen attention to detail.
- Essential duties/responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with designers and products teams to ensure all aspects of projects have been solidified.
- Create preflight profiles for each print vendor.
- Ensure compliance for all approved design files (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay – This role’s base pay is $40 per hour. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
Benefits – Temporary and per-diem employees who average at least 30 hours of work per week within the Company’s look-back period are eligible to enroll in medical coverage after 90 days of employment. Temporary and per-diem employees working more than 20 hours per week are eligible for twelve paid holidays. All temporary and per-diem employees are eligible for accrued sick time.
