Technician Assistant Jobs

We are looking for a fun, energetic, fast paced learner to join our family at VCA Bakersfield Animal Hospital. We are a 24 hour emergency hospital that also operates for general practice needs. We also offer boarding and grooming services to our community.

We are looking for a technician assistant to join the team. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Restraining
• Assisting in administering vaccines
• Running lab work
• Assisting with administering medications
• Assisting in blood draws
• And much more
• Assisting in radiographs

In this position, individuals are able to gather the basic knowledge and foundation that is expected when becoming a Veterinary Assistant. Here at VCA Bakersfield, we are always look to promote and transfer with in. If this sounds like something you are interested in, please feel free to apply!

Wage: $16/hr

Schedule: must be available nights and weekends

**Shift differential pay for hours worked between 6p-6a.
