Note:We are NOT looking for Business Intelligence/Repinteort writer or data scientist resources.We are looking for resources that are technical, can complete data flowmappings, good with communication, documentation of requirements, attention to detail, etc.Folks that have been developers in their past, however have great business acumen and want to be a technical analyst are most preferred.

The Data Integration and Warehouse Team is looking for a Technical Analyst with a development background to support new front-end integrations into, and Production Support issues derived from, our Business Unit systems into the Enterprise Data Warehouse via CXML integration.

This person may also be a Technical Analyst on our Data Production Support team that supports our productionalized integrations for all of our business units via CXML integration, ETL, and mainframe ingestion, among others. The main focus on this team will be to definerequirements/solutionsand coordinate with a developer, if necessary, on incidents and requests that come into the Data team. The person who applies for this position should have a unique blend of soft skills, analytical skills, technical skills, and agility. He or she is proactive, dependency-aware, and can transition seamlessly between a holistic, enterprise perspective and a critical attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with development team to resolve difficult design and development issues
• Serve as mentor to other Technical Analysts
• Conduct impact assessment and determine size of effort based on requirements for larger initiatives
• Acts as a liaison between Data and different technical groups such as security, infrastructure, BU IT, and more
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Contribute/participate in the Data Analyst Center of Excellence
• Develop mapping requirements, documenting data movement and transformation rules
• Identify process and technical improvements that can be made and work to implement them according to team standards
• Collaborate with product development teams and senior designers to develop architectural requirements to ensure performant and scalable solutions that meet the business needs
• Work with the product owner and IT sponsor to prioritize work and shape backlog
• Enhance SDLC process to help further automate deployments, testing, and impact analysis
• Head complex ETL requirements and design
• Lead and guide development and analysis of an Informatica-based ETL architecture

Qualifications:

• Exposure within Informatica IDMC (CDI, CAI, CMI, CDIE)
• Adept experience within Informatica PowerCenter
• Adaptable and can effectively cope with rapidly changing business landscape
• Ability to think creatively, champion new ideas and challenge the status quo
• Excels in relational data base tools, including SQL
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
• Some cloud exposure, preferably Azure and/or Snowflake
• Ability to self-manage and stay on track with commitments; resourceful in solving problems and removing impediments

Experience:

• 7+ years’ related experience in Data Integration Development or Data Analysis
• Agile delivery experience necessary
• Commercial Insurance experience a plus
• 5+ years’ experience within ETL Architecture
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
