Data Analyst Jobs

Location: Hybrid- onsite 3 days a week, prefers to sit in Columbus. Open to Cleveland, Akron, Detroit, Chicago

A client of Insight Global is looking for data analysts to join their Commercial Performance Management team. In this role, you will interact with sales leaders, business partners and other stakeholders to develop and deliver performance reporting and insights. The role will focus on data mining, current customer credit quality and performance, business results/metrics, and other ad-hoc analyses.

• Build and modify queries using SAS, R, or Python to create data sets for reporting and analysis
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments and teams
• Perform ad hoc analysis, dashboards and reporting as needed to support leadership and business partners
• Utilize data to create insights to help leaders deepen their understanding of performance, gain efficiencies and improve bottom line performance
• Design, build and maintain Tableau Dashboards and Reports

Required Qualifications:

• Developing or proficient in Tableau
• Proficiency in SQL
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Marketing, Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in a business intelligence or analyst role
• Proficiency in SAS, R or Python
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong data visualization skills to display complex data sets in a simple way
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a matrix organization
• Experience pulling, cleaning, and validating data from disparate source systems
• Experience with Salesforce.com or comparable CRM
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Background in Financial Services, particularly within Commercial segment or Data organization
