Job Description

Position: French Language Teacher
Employment Type: Part-time
Work Year: 2023-2024
Working Hours: Thursdays and Fridays, 8:30 am EST
Effective Date: Immediate
Job Summary
We are currently seeking highly-qualified French teachers to deliver captivating lessons to two online classes each week. Each live class spans 45 minutes, and you will have the invaluable support of a dedicated teaching assistant to ensure smooth class management.
This part-time position offers an opportunity to engage and inspire students through dynamic online instruction while customizing the course material in collaboration with our Instructional Designer.
Responsibilities
As a French Language Teacher at our academy, you will:
Develop and deliver engaging lessons that bring the French language to life
Foster an interactive learning environment by actively engaging with students during live lessons
Collaborate with our Instructional Designer to customize the course material to suit your teaching style and the students' needs
Conduct online instruction via Zoom, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Ensure a reliable internet connection for uninterrupted teaching experiences
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should have:
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Experience teaching French, preferably in an educational setting
Proficiency in delivering distance learning, utilizing innovative teaching methodologies
Access to a reliable internet connection to facilitate seamless online instruction
