The Opportunity
Girls in Afghanistan face significant barriers to formal secondary education, but we are determined to change that. We are developing educational videos that will enable girls to continue their education from the comfort of their homes. These videos will focus on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, empowering them with knowledge and opportunities for a brighter future.
Position: Educational Video Curriculum Consultant
You will play a crucial role in shaping the curriculum for our educational videos. Your expertise will drive the development of presentations and scripts that resonate with the students and educators in Afghanistan. By collaborating with our passionate project team, you will ensure the content is culturally sensitive and relevant, empowering girls to thrive in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive curriculum outlining topics for each deliverable.
Create engaging presentation slides and narratives for various subjects.
Collaborate with our team to incorporate feedback and finalize the content.
Review and provide input on the video production, ensuring excellence.
Qualifications
Advanced degree (or bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience) in a relevant field.
At least 10 years of experience supporting e-learning modalities.
Extensive background in developing pedagogical skills for science and math education.
Proven track record in creating professional educational videos.
Familiarity with digital editing concepts and a flair for creativity.
Experience working in countries experiencing conflict or post-conflict environments.
