Position Summary

We are seeking a Global Talent Director to develop talent programs that support one of our five key strategic initiatives – developing our talent bench strength. In this new role, the incumbent will develop and lead programs that support the identification and development of current and future Sensience leaders. The incumbent will be responsible for leading all talent programming including our annual talent, performance, and succession planning processes.


At Sensience we offer a flexible work schedule with the ability to work from home up to two days per week. Sensience is currently headquartered in Mansfield Ohio with plans to relocate to the Columbus area.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Support various organizational effectiveness interventions; facilitate workshops as required
  • Participate in talent selection processes, maintain global talent acquisition metrics
  • Create and roll out development programming for key leaders, top/emerging talent, and new hires
  • Design and implement a variety of developmental initiatives, action plans, programs, and training for managers as required
  • Oversee annual talent, performance, and succession planning processes
  • Establish and maintain development plans for top leaders globally
  • Leverage HRIS and LMS systems to maximize all talent programming
  • Lead the development and implementation of a common framework to discuss people, talent, and competencies across the organization


Position Requirements:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience designing, and implementing talent and succession programs
  • Experience in talent and organizational effectiveness interventions preferred.
  • Degree in business, human resources, or a related field required. Masters in HR or an MBA preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English. Ability to speak Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
  • Experience with a large, diverse, and geographically diverse employee population
  • Ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with external banking partners.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset with the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and team with professionals in various functional areas to resolve complex issues throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrate a strong mastery of talent evaluation and succession planning principles
  • Certifications in Korn Ferry and MBTI methodology preferred
  • Experience working in an industrial company preferred
  • Familiarity with Dayforce, Oracle, or other HRIS and LMS systems
