Job Description

General Summary

The Systems Administrator will maintain and monitor Company systems and related infrastructure to meet business requirements. The incumbent will ensure that systems hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to the predefined standards.


Primary Responsibilities

1. Perform routine administration and maintenance of designated system(s) to meet the Company business requirements.

2. Monitor systems to achieve optimum level of performance.

3. Monitor servers for compliance with established standards, policies, configuration guidelines and procedures.

4. Provide capacity analysis reports/data.

5. Monitor server backups on a daily basis.

6. Perform first level problem determination and resolution to ensure availability and stability of corporate based platforms according to established service level agreements.

7. Escalate higher level issues to senior levels as required.

Education/Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 2-4 years of relevant experience.

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.

4. Customer service driven.

5. Strong team player.


Physical/Cognitive Requirements

4. Ability to use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel.

5. Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 8 hours per day.

6. Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.


Working Conditions

General office environment that is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available.
