Role:
The System Administrator provides financial services of superior quality and convenience through managing the software and hardware that comprises of CapEd's digital infrastructure. This position is also responsible for configuring and maintaining various applications and hardware. The System Administrator will provide tier II support and training to Credit Union employees in the use of networked devices.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Will be second tier support in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of PCs, printers, terminals, etc.; coordinate with technical support and vendors as necessary; coordinate with other M.I.S. staff to resolve hardware, software, and application problems. Create thorough documentation of issues. Provide ongoing support to all Credit Union staff in the use of end-user hardware and software products.
  • Manages the company's on-premises and cloud applications to provide a reliable and efficient computing environment.
  • Installs, configures, administers, and optimizes a variety of physical and virtual devices to maximize uptime and efficiency for Credit Union staff. Recommends and configures server and application optimizations.
  • Ensures administrative control over the end-user hardware and software assets of the Credit Union, as well as related supplies and accessories, through maintenance of inventories, files, and logs.
  • Maintains knowledge of all Credit Union products, services, and promotions.
  • Contributes to efficient Credit Union operations by performing other job related duties as assigned.
  • Maintains clear channels of communication with supervisor and other staff at all times to facilitate an efficient working environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

Education: A high school education or GED.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes and/or seasonal brightness through windows. This position may involve periodic stressful conditions. The Credit Union's business days are Monday through Saturday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; however, this position may occasionally require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and to include evening/weekend hours. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
