BrainWorks HR Search is partnered with a private equity owned distribution and retail company with a workforce of 3000 employees. We are seeking a SVP Human Resources to lead human resources efforts. This strategic role will focus on high-level HR operations, with a strong emphasis on recruitment and retention strategies, as well as employee engagement initiatives.

This role is located near Biloxi, MS and will ask to be in office 2 days per week, unless traveling (15%)

Role Overview:

As the SVP Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing HR functions and strategies that support the company’s growth trajectory. This role offers a seat at the decision-making table, allowing you to influence and drive the HR agenda. You will lead a team to ensure HR practices align with business goals and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HR professionals to achieve departmental goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and aligned approach to company-wide initiatives.
• Regularly assess HR processes, policies, and programs, and recommend improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategies that support business growth and enhance the employee experience.
• Oversee HR operations with a focus on recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
• Analyze turnover triggers and implement action plans to address underlying causes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum of 15+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership roles
• Must have supported hourly employee populations within distribution, wholesale, or manufacturing environment
