As our SVP, Group Client Service Leader you will…
- Deliver and drive a clear vision and annual strategy for organic and new business growth tactics, executed over the course of the year
- Own responsibility for overall account performance (as measured by agency revenue and contribution margin) for the Consumer Retail portfolio across Enterprise and SMB accounts
- Lead and build trusted relationships with senior-level and C-level clients
- Understand the client business holistically, beyond advertising, and where they are on the digital maturity scale, to provide strategic considerations/solutions as required
- Lead quarterly and annual brand planning and oversee the development of strategic initiatives and roadmaps. Partner with account leaders for development of account plans and create clear accountability measures that ensure client and agency success
- Manage the Denver client service team, responsible for overall account organizational design and talent management aligned with the client needs
- Indirect oversight and influence on colleagues across all Performance Marketing channels to ensure the experience and expertise needed is deployed in pursuit of "Wow" work and equally exceptional marketing, CX and business results on behalf of our clients
- Deliver strategic solutions leveraging the full power of MERGE
These are the qualifications we're looking for
- Proven track record of delivering business results while pursuing organic growth within the brands under your leadership
- Known in the market as a highly-collaborative, multi-disciplinary agency talent experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple pieces of business and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to establish strong relationships with clients, including C level, delivering strategically-sound recommendations and thought leadership in support of their business
- Natural problem solver who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 15+ years of advertising agency experience with at least 9+ years in a leadership role within the retail vertical
- Experience thinking holistically across a brand portfolio of $10M+, providing strategic brand expertise and partnership across several brand stakeholders
- Expertise in building and growing omni-channel Enterprise and SMB Clients in retail marketing and e-commerce with experience across multiple channels including paid media, affiliate marketing, email, SEO, analytics, audience strategies, and brand strategies
Compensation: $165,000 - $225,000
Salary differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training, and experience. MERGE's career ladders reflect department growth from Associate through Partner levels, with details of roles and responsibilities associated with each level. New hires are assigned a job level within a particular position based on these criteria and salary is set within the job level based on these criteria. Growth from one level to the next occurs when employees master their role and are promoted to the next level, generally during salary review cycles that are posted in the employee handbook.
