The Position:


Cannabis & Glass is looking to add a Support Specialist/Scheduling Administrator in Spokane Valley. Join the most exciting and fastest growing industry in Washington! Support Specialists enjoy a fun and collaborative environment, maintaining streamlined communications with the retail teams, whilst working in tandem with the Operations and HR departments.


Essential Functions:


  • Respond to customer inquiries sent via email and investigate customer concerns from all online platforms and over the phone.
  • Assist with Retail Operations team with a variety of administrative office tasks, including but not limited to: counting/inspecting/packaging glass, sending communications to retail employees, reviewing camera footage, office cleanliness.
  • Field all inbound customer calls from all of our retail locations and assist customers with a variety of inquiries while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Respond to all reviews in a timely manner on all of the following platforms: Google, Yelp, Leafly, Weedmaps.
  • Analyze schedules on a daily basis to ensure proper staffing levels for all locations.
  • Review all time off requests from Retail Associates and make approvals based on coverage.
  • Create, implement, and audit schedules for all 7 retail locations (WA/OR/IA).
  • Review all retail employee timesheets daily to ensure timesheets are accurate and verified before payroll is processed.
  • Assist the Human Resources department with a variety of employee communications.
  • Facilitate and communicate employee call outs and fill corresponding on-call shifts as needed to ensure adequate staffing at each location.


Working Conditions:


  • Employees may be exposed to difficult or stressful customer situations requiring patience and professionalism to effectively handle
  • This position is based primarily out of the corporate office in Spokane Valley.
  • Job duties may include work indoors and outdoors during all seasons, 365 days/year.
  • Work duties may require sedentary activities, active standing, stooping, and/or kneeling.
  • Retail stores are open 365 days a year, and the support specialist team supports the retail team with shifts typically occurring between 7am and 7pm.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Must be able to continue to assist customers and coworkers during and after stressful situations resulting from customer service interactions.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate information and ideas so customers and coworkers will understand. Must be able to convey and exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Must be able to type at least 40 WPM.
  • Must be able to remain in a designated work area for up to 8 hours per day with the exception of breaks as required by law.
  • Must be able to reliably arrive at work on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Must be able to proficiently operate computers, tablets and other productivity machinery and technology.
  • Must be able to perform other job duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to accurately observe details at close range in order to recognize, identify, detect, determine and assess objects.


Job Requirements:


  • Must have a GED or high school diploma.
  • Previous office, reception or data entry experience is strongly preferred; although, we are open to experience from other industries as long as it's applicable to this role.
  • We do not require previous professional experience in the cannabis industry but would strongly prefer the applicant be a regular consumer of the product.
  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must commit to coming to work sober. We love cannabis but we do not get high on the job.
