Job Description
Position: Support Services Coordinator


Reports To: Director of Administrative Support – CA


FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


Type: Full-Time


PRN Ambulance is looking for a self-motivated Support Services Coordinator who is ready to grow with the Company as we are quickly expanding. The Support Services Coordinator will handle a wide range of administrative support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. Must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse personnel and programs.


Essential Job Responsibilities


  • Provide assistance on company projects within allotted time frame
  • Create database to track progress and outcomes of company projects, audits, and licensure
  • Monitor, distribute, and respond to incoming communication regarding procurement and licensure, when applicable
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Assists with researching and identifying medical supply price trends
  • Assist with uploading required organizational documentation into customer credentialing system
  • Provide support in collecting procurement data and generating reports to identify areas of improvement
  • Obtain necessary information and documentation to successfully complete tasks and projects
  • Ensure inventory updates and quarterly submissions are done timely
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Acts as liaison between Support Services and LEMSA agencies
  • Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submissions
  • Assist in compiling data, documentation, and drafting project correspondence
  • Maintain electronic organization of recordkeeping and licenses


Position Requirements


  • Initiative
  • Experience with basic bookkeeping skills including AP and invoices.
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience.
  • Judgment and decision-making ability
  • High School Diploma
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
  • Key competencies include organizational and planning, communication, information gathering and information monitoring, problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures.
  • Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial


Preferred


  • Support experience in a professional services, sales or marketing environment
  • Experience successfully creating and/or modifying processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree


Physical Requirements


  • Must spend long hours in intense concentrations
  • Must be able to hear and communicate clearly to perform job duties in person and over the telephone
  • Adequate vision required to be able to read information from printed sources and computer screens
  • Must be able to sit for an extended period of time and use office equipment and computers. The Administrative Assistant will also have to do some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time, up to 25 pounds.
  • Requires frequent repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, reaching and grasping
  • Must spend long hours on the computer entering and researching information
